GetBuilder was born out of frustration.

First, thank you for accessing our platform!

Who we are? We're a team of four mates from London, all in our mid-twenties, who've spent the last five years working in the trades, primarily plastering & rendering. After using MyBuilder, Homerun & Checkatrade for over 3 years day by day, we've seen it all:

• The good.
• The bad.
• And the "MyBuilder charged me £150 and I didn't even get the job".

For years, we watched talented tradespeople get squeezed by platforms that took their money whether they won jobs or not. We saw homeowners stuck with no idea what a fair market price even looked like. We dealt with "verified" profiles that hadn't been touched in years and support centres that felt more like voicemail graveyards than actual help.
