GetBuilder Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates an online platform that connects homeowners with tradespeople for home improvement projects. We are registered in England and Wales. Our platform facilitates introductions between users but we do not directly provide trade services.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of GetBuilder, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3. Homeowner Terms

As a homeowner using GetBuilder, you understand that:

• Posting jobs on GetBuilder is free
• You are responsible for selecting and vetting tradespeople
• All contracts for work are directly between you and the tradesperson
• GetBuilder is not a party to any agreement for services
• You must provide honest and accurate job descriptions

4. Tradesperson Terms

As a tradesperson using GetBuilder, you agree that:

• You must complete our KYC verification process
• A flat fee of £25 is payable when you win a job
• You are solely responsible for the quality of your work
• You must maintain valid insurance and certifications where required
• You will maintain a minimum 4-star rating to remain on the platform
• You will not solicit work outside of the platform from GetBuilder leads

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to circumvent our payment systems
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions
• Scrape or collect data from our platform without permission

6. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines. Tradespeople who fall below a 4-star average rating may be removed from the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

GetBuilder acts as an intermediary platform only. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by tradespeople. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
